With the increasing of the living standard,more and more people like keeping some animals as pets at home,like cats,dogs and so on.It's true that keeping a pet can have some advantages.First of all,it can make our life colourful.People take their pets out for a walk in their spare time,which has been part of their daily life.Second,animals,like dogs are royal friends of human beings.When we are not at home,they can help look after our homes.Third,the pets can make their hosts happy.Some pets are clever,they know their hosts' feelings and act as they tell him,which makes them happy.
To my mind,I agree with the view of raising a pet for the reasons mentioned above.
