請(qǐng)假條的格式

　　請(qǐng)假條(written request for leave)是英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者必須掌握的常用應(yīng)用文之一，它包括請(qǐng)病假(note for sick leave)和請(qǐng)事假(leave of absence)。請(qǐng)假條是用于向老師或上級(jí)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)等因身體狀況不好或因某事請(qǐng)求準(zhǔn)假的場(chǎng)合。

　　英文請(qǐng)假條寫(xiě)作需注意三點(diǎn)：

　　1.英文中請(qǐng)假條的寫(xiě)法和漢語(yǔ)請(qǐng)假條相同， 它一般由四部分組成，即時(shí)間、稱呼、正文和簽名。

　　2.一般而言，可認(rèn)定請(qǐng)假條是一種簡(jiǎn)單的書(shū)信文體。請(qǐng)假條一般寫(xiě)在紙上，不用信封。其書(shū)寫(xiě)格式與書(shū)信有很多相似之處，是書(shū)信的大大簡(jiǎn)化。

　　3.請(qǐng)假條的特點(diǎn)是要求開(kāi)門見(jiàn)山、內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)短、用詞通俗易懂。

　　范文：

　　Dear Mr/Ms Jiang

　　I was unable to come to 1st and 2nd period today.Due to the rain yesterday, I was wet and had temperature at night. The doctor adviced me to rest for several days and after my recovery, I will attend school as soon as possible.

　　I am sincerely sorry about the inconvenience. However, I would like to have your permission. Also, afterwards I would phone you and there's the certificate by the doctor.
